SegaNet lets you go one-on-one

Sega's Dreamcast gaming console is now the first in the United States with its own gaming network. SegaNet lets Dreamcast owners play each other via the Net in online-enabled games such as NFL 2K1 and NBA 2K1 (see above). Look for Quake III Arena and more online games for Dreamcast before the holidays. The service, which can be used as the Internet service provider for your computer, costs $21.95 per month. But if you already own a Dreamcast and sign for two years with SegaNet, you get a $200 rebate. Don't own a Dreamcast? Sega will give you one, with a keyboard, for free.
