Looking for computer gaming cheats and a liberal dose of console cracks at the same time? Gamecenter provides plenty. Look for game titles under PC or Video Game—sadly, you can't just look for Dreamcast games or any console type. The tips are completely searchable, but we found that the search was a little buggy—a search for "soul" or "calibur" didn't turn up Soul Calibur, which is covered and can be found in the alphabetical listing. If you're ready to dig for good tips, these are of the highest quality. ***

These two sites link back and forth to each other, teaming up to provide a lot of information in plain text that's easy to download and print. You'll find complete walk-throughs that tell you how to get from the beginning to the end of the game without a mix-up or lost item. While there isn't much at either site for PC or Mac, just about every console gaming system imaginable is covered, from Atari to 3DO. If you own an obscure, discontinued game system—Coleco Vision, anyone?—these sages will give you all the help you need to keep on winning. ***
EXTREME GAMERS NETWORK
This index site has a collection of news updates and upcoming releases, plus a newsletter for gaming fans. But its primary feature is a list of "affiliate" sites that target different gaming platforms with specialized tips and tricks. The best affiliate for general use is probably the Cheater's Guild, which features in its main tips section the interesting motto: "I came, I tried, I lost, I tried again, I cheated, I won." Other affiliates cover games and tips for the Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, PlayStation and Game Boy game platforms. **

Gaming diehards at this site serve up a huge helping of well-orchestrated cheats for Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, PlayStation and PC. Just click on the platform of your choice and then the Cheats link to get a list of games. The list of tips here isn't as extensive as at sites that rely on user input, but the tips are incredibly well written and easy to follow. **
